Exactly. Who the fuck is Kreg? And how did they reach Kreg from Craig? When does an "ai" become an "e"? This is clearly something that developed a long time ago, why didn't somebody correct the initial Kregger? How was it allowed to go this far?

Weren't you on a NYE line-up with one of our "shitey guests"? Cagedbaby perhaps?

I'm sorry we turned down your request for a slot in a decent club but if you send in a mix i'll consider you for a warm up slot for a wake i'm going to next week. I'm sure your deathly disco will go down a treat. suicide.gif

not being able to use PM's.....absolutely pointless coming on here now cos i certainly do not come on for the heeps of chat that goes on its about as lively as a graveyard most days.

i reckon i send well over 50 pm's a day, saves me using my work email cos you are limited to what you can speak about.

oh well that the end of my eccf days then!

The PMs are switched off temporarily as users were receiving SPAM message that contained harmful links. Therefore it would be negligent of us to leave this feature enabled until we have upgraded the forum software which should help eradicate situations like this.

The new site should be up and running in the coming weeks.

to be fair i think the forum has seen better days and should close down anyway its not really contributing to the edinburgh club scene in anyway not like it used to anyway i may sound like a broken record but its never going to rival facebook/bebo/myspace ...its far to expensive to keep it going for 10 maybe 15 at a push regular posters when the mentioned sites are free and easier to advertise to the masses.

fare play to neil for keeping it as long as he did paying the monthly rental on his own when in reality alot of the so called eccf affilated clubs didnt even stick to their side of the bargain which was putting the eccf logo on flyers....and to think all the hard work he put in getting again the affiliated nights slots at the eccf BBQ's and one of eccf nights that were rammed every time.

unless you have some amazing plan for the forum then i personally think you are wasting your time, i spent 3 months trying to advertise this place including the v-view packages and you couldnt even give them away for free again most places preffer a site they can admin them selves.

time to bite the bullet its just a wee forum in a wee city going no where.

and the best of it is the busiest section on the clubbing forum is the football forum laugh.gif

The PMs should now be fixed and hopefully, we shouldn't have too many more of those SPAM messages etc. Well, heres hoping anyway.

its lucky we have an amazing plan then..

the edinburgh scene has changed and the ECCF needs to keep up with that, but there are some amazing nights in Edinburgh that have spring up, just look at the bongo club, the scene in edinburgh is deffenetly not dead, its just evolved.

i didnt say the clubbing scene is dead mate 2009 saw some amazing DJ's in the 'burgh and seems to be really picking up again alot of weekends you were spoilt for choice for a night out.......i said this forum is dead it has been for about 2 years i really cant see how anyone is going to get fresh blood on here when you have the big boy social networking websites, eccf is just a bog standard chat forum folk like to add pictures and have a page that is personalized to them unless you do something like that then i dont think this forum is ever going to go anywhere.

i hope you idea's are great cos i am only being honest

If we could lure ClubberRetired out of ClubberRetirement that would get things going again in here.
